I don't have the verbal footstep-by-step procedure but I think it can be done, and the procedure may exist similar to the post-obit set of directions:One of the experts here tin can probably give you a footstep-by-step based on the instructions in a higher place for you to try...Code:
Delight Login or Register to run into the links-----------------
[Edit] I'm no skillful just you can try this:
one) Download the appropriate Jordan map file from:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]2) Create a folder name 'Garmin' without the quotation marks onto an empty USB flash drive that's >25MB.
three) Copy the downloaded map file into this binder
4) Rename the file to 'gmapsupp.img' without the quotation marks
Instructions below are copied and adapted from the referenced instructions found at the previously provided link to a higher place:
5) Put auto in run style (with engine on or not)
6) Plow all unnecessary features off (i.due east. A/C)
7) Go out your radio on (needed to recognize a USB is plugged in)
8) Goto the Navigation screen
9) Plug USB stick into vehicle, it will beginning Validating the USB stick
10) When the update prompts, follow the menus
11) Permit the system update (few minutes process, if engine is non on, the car will shutdown half way through the process, you volition need to put it back in run manner immediately, and then ensure you stay with the machine if you do non accept the engine on)
12) It will either give a Maps updated successfully message or Reflash failed message. But verify that the maps loaded fine, simply you should be GTG [Good-To-Go].
Hope this works... practiced luck! [/Edit]

The following link too indicates that "the key needs to be in the 'ON' position":Even though that word involves an update of the 430N-RHB's Garmin software, looking through the contents of that update zip file that was used with an USB bulldoze, I believe the map update procedure provided above should work. Just one other note for y'all, afterwards completing the map transfer from the USB drive, you lot might need to enable the Jordan map on the 'Map Info' screen--typically accessible via Tools > Settings > Map.

I've got a 2011 Chrysler 430N RHB OEM nav/media system. Thus far I've had no luck with the downloaded maps and ASR, and JCV files. My system has the "OEM City Navigator North America + Mexico NT 20111" I've downgraded my head unit software from 50.Twenty to 33.XX, I've read this is a must.
I'1000 trying to update to CN North America NT 2015.twenty. Thus far I only get the map update provided is not uniform with your navigation organization. I've gotten my maps from gpspower. I have as well tried my Zumo 660 simply didn't know if the maps would be compatible, I've tried though and failed. This is the file construction I'g using on the USB stick;
<DIR> Garmin
gmapprom.img
gmaptz.img
ii File(s) 2,368,666,624 bytesGarmin\ASR
04CS1KAO.srx
04CS1KAP.asr
04CS1KAQ.asr
04CS1KAR.asr
4 File(s) 689,779,482 bytesGarmin\JCV
D3060150A.JCV
1 File(due south) 854,876,229 bytesI just don't go it... what am I missing here? Do you recollect it's the maps? I went ahead and ordered a Garmin 3590LMT yesterday which will make it in a few days. From other information I've read this is a good fit for files.
Any help/guidance would be nigh appreciated.
Thank you lot.
